In the third year of my university course, DNEG set us a brief where we were asked to put our own creative twist on a concept provided to us. I loved this project as it pushed my creature modelling skills and took me out of my comfort zone.

Modelled in ZBrush & Maya, textured in Substance Painter and rendered in Blender Cycles.
